The Boss Ladies

The Boss Ladies. From the name, I'm sure you have some idea who they are. I've had the opportunity to get to know, and work with, many of these women. So for this blog...lets learn a little of my experience with them.

Recently, I went to Summit Training for Salons. This is THE training for salons looking to do their best to serve...with a bigger purpose. Just so happens, this opportunity was in Vegas. That means, I had the oppurtunity to travel alone, across the U.S. The days leading up to this trip were nervous for me. Now, I can officially say that I made it, with a new respect for these women.

So...Boss Ladies...yes, they are pretty much amazing. To get the opportunity to do their hair is an understatement. Their stories...and matter of fact demeanor...are captivating to me.

It pretty much goes like this..."So, what are your plans coming up, Cindy?", followed by "Ah, ya know, I have to go to Europe to present this thing." Only after talking to Cindy through her root touch up, you realize that "thing" will change how whole processes are done around the globe.

So, at the end I'm like...."Uh, Excuse me Cindy....thats a big freakin deal, and I need to get my life together." The only thing is, Cindy has no clue this is a thing. Cindy is leaving on Monday, coming back next Wednesday, doing her thing.

Its life as usual for this Boss.

The reality is, there are a lot of Cindys

The next Cindy holds several patents for the biggest chemical company in the world.

The next Cindy just started one of the biggest tech partner companies in the U.S.

The next Cindy runs one of our biggest employers.

The next Cindy....oh she's an M.D., has a PHD, and teaches "on the side", cause she likes teaching things.

You catch the drift. These are real women...only thing, their names are not all Cindy.

They roll along in life.

They run things.

They don't blink an eye to do so.

Cindy can have a million things going on...it don't matter....she's got this. To Cindy, she's busy working....in reality, she's changing the world. Luckily, she's made for this, and will kick ass getting it done...and make you a casserole, no Campbells included, with fresh herbs from her garden.

Can I say...after you cook that casserole Cindy, drop the mic, cause your a freakin prodigy.

Let's see what gifts we got, to be Boss Ladies.

Let's be an example to the next gen... we got this, and the sky is the limit.
